Jovica Drobnjak, born in 1966 in Gornja Ploča.

He started doing photography in 1981 in the photo group of the primary school “Većeslav Holjevac“ in Zagreb.

Four years later, he graduated from the School of Applied Arts in Zagreb, Department of Techniques in Photography.

He was employed as a photographer in several Croatian weeklies and magazines for twelve years, and for the last fifteen years he has been working as an independent photographer.
