What is Your Frequency?

Dealing with the phenomenon of N. Tesla, one of his quotes caught my attention: "If you want to unravel the mysteries of the universe, think about energy, frequencies and vibrations." This idea permeates the project that addresses a symbolic question: What is Your Frequency?

Frequencies in the Grass

In this art piece, I generate grass seeds on circular or square boards. Using higher frequencies and different surfaces results in complex shapes and concentric circles of seeds, which is then covered with soil and grown under artificial light for growing plants.

Shape - Sphere

Fragile spatial constructions, assembled from natural material and painted with natural colors emulate the structures extant in nature and belonging to the world of viruses.

Sphere - Metal

While developing spatial objects during the Shape/Sphere 2017-2021 project, a series of metal objects was created. These are spatial constructions made of wire or metal rods that emulate structures extant in nature, belonging to the world of viruses.

Lines of Force and Formations

A series of wooden reliefs and their prints called Lines of Force and Formations also sides with the idea that all the data on forms exist woven and written within us, and that we are the ones who release them in accordance with our inner intuition and needs, and at a chosen moment.

"Babel We Are not Mad with You"

By using a name that evokes the picture of the legendary Tower of Babel, seen by many as the place where all existing languages originate from, the project aims to ask several artistically articulated questions about personal attitudes towards languages, our blurred collective memory and its reliability, as well as towards cultural heritage and our awareness of it...

Interiors

When observing the space around us, we concentrate on the bodies that fill that space, i.e., they are in the center of our attention, and seldom or almost never do we focus on their shadows. The shadow resides in our peripheral vision, it is not in the foreground, but it is the shadow that is responsible for the comprehensive experience acquired through observation.
